Custom plug-ins

Plug-ins can be developed by ITRS’s clients and third parties. There is a published plug-in API. The plug-in API supports C++, JAVA, C# , Visual Basic, Perl and most other high level programming and scripting languages.

Geneos also provides a JMX plug-in that can be configured to monitor key management metrics of any Java JMX compliant application.

Interfaces to other monitoring systems

Geneos can pass events to other monitoring systems such as Tivoli, HP Openview, BMC Patrol, Netcool and many others

Custom alert handling

Users have the ability to write custom alert handlers - most scripts and languages are supported.
