Active Console

Geneos Active Console provides operations staff with high-level views of the current status of the monitored infrastructure, the ability to quickly drill down to detailed data – zeroing in on leading performance indicators and other underlying data contained in multiple locations and application services – and easy access in a single application to command-and-control capabilities to deal with alerts and carry out routine system management tasks across complex and diverse environments. Using single sign-on and taking advantage of finely grained permissioning, users can easily and directly access and control multiple system elements.

Logical associations can be made between monitored elements, allowing views to be built that show particular performance attributes, such as transaction latencies between points, or a particular subset of the infrastructure. From these views, users can quickly drill down to view current values of key parameters gathered by the Instrumentation Tier, as well as to historical data and log files generated by the monitored applications and servers.
