Active Dashboard

Active Dashboard provides high-level pictorial views or visualisations of the environment being monitored. These views are ideal for business users and customer support staff who need a business-focused view of the current status of the services running over the infrastructure, or for operations staff monitoring a subset of the infrastructure. Active Dashboard views can be displayed on large screens in business environments such as trading floors to provide general operational oversight. They can also be published as web pages to allow them to be viewed from any location.

Views in Active Dashboard are built using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, and customisable colour-coded icons can be used to indicate the status of monitored application processes and servers at a glance. The current values of key parameters can also be presented on gauges or in charts and tables, with the ability to drill down into the detail if required by business users, managers and customer support teams.

The web and mobile implementation of the Visualisation Tier, WebSlinger, provides a view-only Windows Explorer-like structured presentation of the monitored environment that allows key monitored values to be displayed on a web browser or on a PDA.
