ITRS Group

This interface allows operations staff to monitor the health of Gissing ConteX Contributions systems, control operational parameters and monitor the global connectivity and latency of the Gissing infrastructure.

Example uses:

• ensure that all expected feed handlers are running on the ConteX Contributions system
• ensure that the ConteX Contributions system is running in the correct configuration, using the correct version
• ensure expected traffic is passing through the ConteX Contributions systems
• monitor bespoke statistics for individual feeds

Monitoring of values to create views of the following:

• - ConteX Stat Handler: monitors the ConteX Contributions system by reading status information sent by the Stat Handler to the Geneos XML-RPC API
• - Server Status: server state, fault tolerance and performance
• - Global Status Page: state of all input and output handlers
• - Handler Status: detailed metrics for each handler instance
• - Handler Performance: update rates and latency information for each handler
• - Handler Statistics: updates per hour per handler
