Oracle Database Interface
Interface allows operations staff to monitor Oracle databases to a high level of detail.
Example uses:
- ensure the database is in the expected state, i.e. primary or secondary
- ensure adequate space is available
- get notified when a lock exists for longer than X seconds
- view queries that have taken longer than X seconds to run
Interface provides
- server status, including version, start-up time, operating modes
- details of the created trace files
- free, used and allocated space per table space
- details of the locks currently enforced
- lists of long-running queries
