This interface allows operations staff to monitor Sybase servers and databases to a high level of detail.

Example uses:

• ensure adequate space is available
• get notified when a lock exists for longer than X seconds
• view queries that have taken longer than X seconds to run
• check a specific application is connected to the database

This interface provides

• details of the physical devices assigned to the database server, including name, location, size and usage
• details of physical and logical space available to an individual database
• details of connected users and applications, including name, host, priority and the current command being run
• details of the locks currently enforced
• list of long-running queries
