Sybase Database Interface
This interface allows operations staff to monitor Sybase servers and databases to a high level of detail.
Example uses:
- ensure adequate space is available
- get notified when a lock exists for longer than X seconds
- view queries that have taken longer than X seconds to run
- check a specific application is connected to the database
This interface provides
- details of the physical devices assigned to the database server, including name, location, size and usage
- details of physical and logical space available to an individual database
- details of connected users and applications, including name, host, priority and the current command being run
- details of the locks currently enforced
- list of long-running queries
