Tibco RV Interface

This interface allows operations staff to monitor system health and network loading by RV traffic.

Example uses:

  • quickly identify misbehaving RV nodes that can jeopardise the heath of the RV backbone so they can be can be repaired before they bring the whole RV environment down
  • ensure all RV nodes have a minimum version number deployed
  • ensure specific expected RV nodes are up and sending the expected volume of information during trading hours

Interface provides:

  • key performance metrics per RVD, including address, RV version, status, uptime, send and receive rates, retransmission and re-request rates
  • top X senders
  • receivers that ask for the most retransmissions
  • senders that are asked for the most retransmissions
  • overall rate of RV traffic and percentage of retransmitted traffic
  • monitoring of heartbeats and data rates for specified subjects
