Webslinger

Geneos Webslinger is an application which provides the Gateway output in a view-only HTML format. It allows users and managers to view the status of their environment in near real-time via any web browser. Output can be directed to any HTML compatible device, such as a PC with an internet connection, a BlackberryTM, or WAP-enabled mobile phone.

Architecture

Webslinger runs as a server. It establishes TCP/IP connections to the specified Geneos Gateways and acts as a Web Server, serving pseudo-pages that reflect the latest status of the Managed Entities from the connected Gateways.
