The visualisation, or workstation, tier is available as a desktop, web portal or mobile implementation. It provides a single management view of your system via a Windows Explorer-type interface, and helps drive operational performance improvement by offering insights into long-term trends across the whole environment.

The desktop implementation is based around the Active Console, Active Dashboard and Geneos Setup Editor, which together form Geneos Workstation. Each component provides an at-a-glance perspective on how the trading and supporting infrastructure is performing in real time for both operations staff and business users.

Active Console delivers high-level status views and the ability to drill down quickly to detailed data and deal with alerts and routine system management tasks thanks to easily accessible command-and-control capabilities.

Active Dashboard displays large screen views of the monitored environment on trading floors, or as web pages accessible via a browser from any location. Views can detail particular performance attributes for business users and customer support staff, or a particular infrastructure subset for operations staff.

Geneos Setup Editor allows operations staff to develop alerts and monitoring, and to create exception rules that allow specific responses to be automated. All Gateways and NetProbes can be configured and managed remotely, enabling quick implementation or changes to be applied.

The web and mobile implementation – WebSlinger – displays a view-only structured presentation of the monitored environment.
