Our Data Scientists work ahead of the product team in their "factory of ideas". The team undergoes extensive research into the problems we want to solve and produce innovative solutions, conceptual models and data visualisations.
The team build prototypes and analytic use cases of candidate features and validate them with real data from selected use-cases. The proposals that prove to be of value will then have a solid basis when the time for feature productisation comes.
A core part the team's work is to create and validate algorithms and data models that solve the core problems faced by ITRS customers, e.g, cost optimisation, event noise reduction, demand and capacity predictive models.
We work to find the smartest and most efficient optimisation algorithms, data models and visualisations that make the most of your cloud infrastructure.
Based on historical usage and statistical analysis we apply our right-sizing optimisation algorithms through a complete cloud estate. The outcome is a high-level but insightful overview with recommendations and associated savings. The user can understand and literally see the patterns that should drive their strategy for rightsizing their cloud instances and understand where potential savings come from.
From a high-level savings overview we can go down to the finest granular level to analytically and visually justify each one of the right-sizing recommendations. This way the client can understand and trust our recommendations. The user can also inject specific domain knowledge in the form of rules and restrictions so that the recommendations can be fully customised at the finest level of granularity.
