ITRS held a formal launch party at the Shangri La Hotel for the opening of the new development centre in Manila on the 13th of October 2011.

Utilising local skills in Manila

Kevin Covington said “Investing in R&D is the way forward for moving into broader markets, accelerating our growth and developing new products. The new development centre allows us to utilise the excellent skills of the local workforce in a region with clear economic growth potential.”

The reception was attended by Stephen Lillie the UK Ambassador to The Republic of the Philippines and Derek Page, Director of the British Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines along with ITRS staff and the chairman of ITRS, Stephen Bates and Keith Waterton, ITRS COO.

Supporting Role

Phil Sales, senior development manager, heads up the Manila team, which now consists of over 20 people. The development centre will focus on providing increased client support, testing and development, working closely with the team in London.
