Enhance your Geneos solution with the addition of a Terracotta Universal Messaging plug-in. Terracotta Universal Messaging's unique approach to last mile messaging gives the ability to quickly adapt to new delivery channels as they emerge. ITRS, through its developer programme, has created a plug-in to enable Geneos users of Terracotta Universal Messaging to identify technical issues before they impact their business.
The plug-in enhances productivity and provides real-time alerts to support staff. Although the status of your Terracotta Universal Messaging can be viewed through the Enterprise manager tool supplied, this only provides a static view of the Cluster and no ability for automated alerts or integration with your other monitoring tools. As more of the global FX e-platforms and banks rely on Terracotta Universal Messaging for streaming, this new plug-in will enable them to see more and deal with issues faster than before.

The Terracotta Universal Messaging plug-in makes extensive use of the admin API to provide detailed, real-time statistics about the performance of Terracotta Universal Messaging Clusters. Using this information in conjunction with Geneos FKM (File Keyword Monitoring) against the Terracotta Universal Messaging log provides a comprehensive view of the health of your cluster. Rules can be set up to provide the support team with automated alerts, which frees up resources and enables swift resolution to issues.
The dashboard shows the status of the cluster, interfaces and channel information. Users can apply the built-in capabilities of Geneos to filter views to only display specific channels, connections or even realms to build up a view of the Terracotta Universal Messaging technology specific to each client’s application or business area.
